ExOS aims to work with reliable, efficient, small footprint, real time multitasking operating system designed for micro embedded systems and robotics. ExOS is a cross architecture operating system running on many MCUs. It supports wide range of interfaces, sensors and devices. High Modular

ExOS is a modular operating system. Based on ExHAL(Hardware Abstraction Layer) EXOS adopts a “Features on demand” approach, allowing developers to build into their firmware only those components which they require. This concept makes it possible to minimize footprint of resulting image.

It incorporates real time preemptive scheduler which allows developers to make use of various task scheduling policies for their needs:
